Day four is done. Today, the department made me the project manager in creating an iPhone App aimed at their fellow mariners to use while at sea. I have no clue where to start, nor the reason as to why they chose me. That’s what I get for always being on my phone.

And day three comes to an end. This morning, I walked into my department and it was deserted. Turns out everybody was at a meeting frantically trying to solve a hijacking of one of the vessels. Yes! Pirates are real!

End of day two. This afternoon, I literally saw the storm roll in from afar at 20 stories. It was pretty breathtaking.

First day back at my summer internship and what a day it was. We had Gourmet Gang for breakfast and California Pizza Kitchen for lunch. I watched the first year interns fill out packets upon packets of paperwork while I caught up with all the new endeavors that the company has reached. I found my new desk, not far from last year’s, and already, the head of my department asked me to join their weekly meeting. I was exhausted to say the least, but I can’t wait to do it all over again tomorrow.
